Continuing from my internship, I am responsible for further developing and optimizing the Mission Control Interface (MCI) for the KuupKulgur lunar rover. This involves enhancing the existing low-latency web application to improve real-time control of the rover, incorporating new features such as advanced sensor data handling and control interfaces. I am also working on refining the system’s performance to ensure it can handle the rigorous demands of lunar missions.Key technologies:Back-end: ROS, Python (FastAPI), JavaScript (roslibjs, ros3djs)Front-end: JavaScript In this role, I continue to strengthen my skills in both frontend and backend development, with a focus on real-time data visualization and remote operation in a mission-critical environment.

Digital Ambassador for the State Education Development Agency, under Latvia’s Ministry of Education and Science. In this role, I represent and support international students in Latvia, offering prospective students worldwide an authentic view of life here. Through social media engagement, I share insights into Latvian student life, university experiences, and local culture to inspire and guide those considering Latvia as their study destination.

I am creating a low-latency web application with real-time camera feeds, sensor data, and battery status, allowing clients to control the rover remotely.Key technologies used:- Back-end: ROS, Python with FastAPI, JavaScript- Front-end: React I've learned a lot about the Robot Operating System (ROS) and how to connect it to non-ROS machines using a WebSocket connection through ROS bridge, serving the data retrieved to clients via the JavaScript library roslibjs. The application has multiple endpoints for data visualization and a customizable homepage for monitoring all ROS data. This role is enhancing my backend and frontend development skills, focusing on real-time control and data visualization in a mission-critical environment.
