I am Lara Crivelaro, an expert in Internationalization of Basic Education, and passionate about connecting Brazilian students and institutions to the world.Currently, I serve as the CEO of Efígie Academy, a strategic partnership with Educatius Academy, a renowned Swedish basic education company.However, since 2006, I have been deeply involved in the educational sector when I founded EFÍGIE Educacional, a pioneering initiative that promotes internationalization between students and Brazilian educational institutions.I am also the co-founder of Educbank, the first FinTech to support education and schools in Brazil, where I also act as the Director of the academic area.My degree in Sociology from Unicamp and Ph.D. from Uniesp provided me with the opportunity to hold leadership positions in various Brazilian universities, including roles such as director of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, vice-rector, and general coordinator of Distance Education.My experience also extends to educational consulting, where I assisted several universities in their internationalization journeys.As the author of four books, I highlight my most recent publication released at BETT Educar 2022: "Transformations of the Brazilian school and educational scenario: new perceptions and new paths".Furthermore, I am honored to be an evaluator for the MEC for the accreditation and authorization of distance education courses.If you are a manager, director, or school maintainer, educator, or professional in the education sector and are looking for international educational partnerships, consultancy, or insights on the internationalization of education, I am here to guide you.
