I’ve spent the last 20+ years in corporate roles at Fortune 500 companies in the Bay Area. From large scale event management at Cisco Systems to a 17-year career at Apple — every role built on the one before it and sharpened my skills and business acumen. My career started in event marketing, but it quickly expanded to marketing procurement, marcom launch events, internal communications, executive communications, business operations, secrecy training and development, supplier responsibility reporting, and global strategic space planning for a 3,000 person engineering organization. No project was too big or complex and I operated at all levels of the company - managing project coordinators to presenting to senior executives. At every turn I delivered high quality work under tight deadlines while managing highly effective teams and collaborating cross-functionally. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:➜ Pioneered the first role in marketing procurement at Apple where my remit expanded from events to advertising, creative agencies, merchandising and iPhone fixtures to the very beginnings of social media. ➜ Collaborated with in-house marcom designers to deliver over 20 global Apple product launches with a focus on events, retail, and channel delivery of content including event invitations, event design, and launch graphics for channel fixtures in retail and carrier stores around the world.➜ Led the complex event management of two Cisco events yearly with over 3,000 attendees and a budget of over $10 million. Managed multiple vendors and an array of passionate internal stakeholders and speakers.➜ At Apple during Covid I was the contact for our engineering organization for all employee communications and updates on global Covid policies and space related decisions. ➜ Directed Inclusion and Diversity programs and policies for Apple’s AI/ML group and collaborated with corporate I&D, HR and recruiting leadership to set goals for hiring managers and engineering leaders.
