Multisystemic Therapy- Psychiatric, MST-Psych for short, is an adaptation ofMultisystemic Therapy (MST) specifically designed to serve families with youth at riskof out of home placement due to serious psychiatric and behavioral problems. The goalof MST-Psych is to improve behavioral problems, mental health symptoms, suicidalbehaviors and family relations while increasing the amount of time youth spend going toschool and living in home-based placements.Target group: Families with children and adolescents aged 11 to 17 with psychiatric problems (such as depression, anxiety, psychotic disorder, personality problems, impulsivity, substance use and PTSD) in combination with behavioural and/or family problems. When parents are burdened by their own issues as mentioned above, the team can work with them.- Provide supervision leadership to 4 MST-PSY therapists and 1 family worker, each treating 3 families.- Support casuistry in the team in including weekly team supervision. - Provide individual supervision to therapists to support them in their own development. - Liaise with referrers and fellow institutions. - Collaborate with the team's US expert and psychiatrist.
