-Supported the Executive Director by performing ad-hoc advocacy, administrative, and research-related tasks.-Served as a liaison between the Executive Director and the Board of Directors on global governance and grassroots engagement matters.-Contributed to written and oral statements for UNANIMA International, event-planning, internal/external report writing, and maintenance of the organization's ECOSOC accreditation. -Collaborated with other civil society organizations as a member of the NGO Committee on Migration, the NGO Committee for Social Development (NGO CSocD), and the Working Group on Girls.-Supervised UNANIMA International student interns. -Managed social media accounts, wrote blogposts, designed social media infographics, and updated the NGO's newsletter on a bi-monthly basis.

Along with another research assistant, completed a written analysis of issues pertaining to children/youth included in the Voluntary National Reviews submitted for the 2021 High-Level Political Forum.

-Produced a literature review and policy recommendations for USAID to better understand the dynamics of different youth-led social movements and governments.-Interviewed civil society experts and practitioners to determine how to bridge the work of youth-led social movements into tangible policy change and increased civic engagement.

I apprenticed with Hopeprint’s Adult and Family department and contributed to the following: -Family case management for Hopeprint families.-Co-management of the Her Village Program.-Co-management of Steps to Thrive graduate family mentors.-Grant and fund development for the Adult and Family department.-Co-management/orientation of summer 2021 Civic Engagement interns.

-Completed qualitative research on climate-induced displacement, specifically on how the mining industry displaces Indigenous people in Brazil and Canada. -Drafted blogposts and took notes at UN meetings such as the 59th Commission on Social Development (CSocD59) and the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW65).-Created flyers, graphics, and summary sheets to be shared on UNANIMA International’s website and social media.

-Worked as a course convener for IRP 413: Global Governance Practicum and developed lesson plans with the MUN team's director.-Edited position papers and speeches; prepared MUN delegates for exams and UN simulation exercises.-Led negotiations and delivered extemporaneous speeches on assigned UN Member State’s role in the UN system.-Conducted thematic research to write and proofread 2-page position papers, articulating the delegation’s position and providing subsequent foreign policy recommendations after detailed analyses.

-Received the SU Honors Crown Award which funded travel to Geneva, Switzerland to conduct interviews with refugee officials for honors thesis.-Completed comparative research on the UNHCR's responses to the Afghan and Rohingya refugee crises.

African Affairs Intern

-Assisted Syracuse refugees in the post-resettlement period through family empowerment programs and neighborhood activities.-Mentored 7th and 8th graders through storytelling and community field trips.-Led Family Registration and canvassing projects, managing and entering subsequent data on roughly 130 Hopeprint programming registrants in Excel spreadsheets. -Represented Hopeprint and volunteered at local Syracuse events, including World Refugee Day and 'Cuse Culture. -Tended to a community garden to help feed the local Syracuse Northside neighborhood.-Traveled to Kansas City's Cathedral neighborhood and launched Hopeprint Kids and Youth events/crafts with Hopeprint's Kansas City team.

After exceptional performance in my Economic Ideas & Issues course, my professor selected me to be a Supplemental Instructor (teaching assistant). As an SI Leader, I:-Managed classrooms of roughly 20 or more students through attendance, progress monitoring, and teaching.-Held two, one-hour classes per week to increase and improve students' understandings of lecture/course material.-Created unique economics lesson plans to cater to students' varying learning wants, needs, and methods.-Provided comprehensive resources, homework help, and exam/quiz review sessions for students.-Effectively served as a liaison between Professor Evensky and his 300+ students per semester.
