Great ideas, quick decisions and good results come to life at a time of crisis, that was the exact time I grew from a marketeer to operating a business. I started my career as a graphic designer at Brandmint, Beirut, focusing on brand development and taking brands’ marketing strategy to the next level through impactful design. I then shifted my focus to marketing in order to be more involved in the strategic make-up of a brands’ image and accordingly pursued my postgraduate degree in international marketing. I then moved to Dubai where I had the chance to reinforce the image of the OMD brand in the region as a thought leader. I was directly involved with top management in setting the marketing strategy and implementing it, which included re-designing the brand collateral, strengthening OMD’s digital presence and participating in key industry events, to name a few. By the end of 2019 my career had to take a huge shift where I had to exceptionally step-in the family business in Beirut at Infotec Systems. My knowledge and skills evolved in a short period of time to a completely new industry for me, which is the cards and payments industry. Being a key player in the market, my main challenge was to devise a strategy to raise the company’s sales during a time of economic and financial crisis in Lebanon. I was able in 2 years to shift the company’s mission, strengthen its offshore presence, restructure the departments internally, as well as restructure the financial and pricing strategy of the company while reinforcing its digital presence. This accelerated the efficiency of the plan set in place and exceeded our targets over the period from 2021-2024. I am also an avid art and literature enthusiast and a cultural junkie!
