Designed and implemented laboratory curriculum for introductory, intermediate and upper level undergraduate biology courses in Physiology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Genetics and Ecology for ~120 students per course. Collaborated closely with multiple faculty in the design of integrated lecture and laboratory classes, active learning activities, course website, student examinations and assignments. Prepared student laboratory manuals, laboratory lecture presentations, assignment instructions and grading rubrics. Managed graduate student teaching assistants in delivery of engaging laboratory exercises, high quality presentations, rigorous student assessment and consistent grading practices. Guided students through laboratory techniques including PCR, gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, spectrophotometer analysis, wet mounts and microbial biochemical tests. Supported student analysis and interpretation of findings. Coordinated the ordering and preparation of reagents and media in a scalable manner, maintained colonies of Drosophila melanogaster, managed vertebrate animal husbandry and oversaw maintenance of laboratory equipment.
