Having worked at ONS for some years, I have held a variety of IT roles ranging from Development, Applications support, Project management and more recently managing Communities of Practice within the Digital Services and Technology Directorate (DST).The Office for National Statistics (ONS) produces independent information to improve understanding of the UK's economy and society. Our work informs decisions that touch the lives of everybody living in the UK, and we take our contribution to society seriously.We know that excellent results can only be achieved by investing in and retaining the people who work for us. Which is why at ONS people count in more ways than one.My current role is as a Senior Delivery manager within the newly formed Government Digital and Data Academy. Our focus is to establish entry level schemes to attract individuals into the Government Digital and Data Profession.
