I managed the high-end ironmongery import department at Mercury Fittings overseeing a small team dedicated to the luxury fittings industry as well as commercial offices, hospitals and apartment buildings.I took on various roles over the years to assist growing the ranges and promoting the business to increase sales and develop strong relationships with suppliers and clients alike.My main roles were architectural specifications - creating customized door by door schedules for architects and interior designers for high-end residential properties, lodges and commercial buildings.Some of the highlight projects specified were Steyn City main house and clubhouse, properties in Val de Vie, Delaire Wine Estate VIP lodges, several properties in Bishops court as well as Breakers. Each of these projects have their unique design and the products specified matched the theme and decor.I worked with top architects and interior designers over the years and have a great appreciation and passion for the field.I created the Mercury Fittings website and several revisions to modernize it over the years. I was in charge of marketing using Instagram, creating mailshots to a database of clients and creating print and online adverts or promotions. I created the Mercury Fittings templates and all documentation to ensure a high level of professionalism and service to clients to assist in decision making and knowledge of the vast product ranges.I helped with quotations, invoicing and general admin duties to ensure deadlines were met and developed a working system within our team for open communication, updates and follow ups for a cohesive work environment between staff.I did the buying and importing (air, sea and couriers) from UK and Europe from our suppliers for client projects. This involved consolidating orders or dispatching standalone depending on the lead times and costings involved per project.

Worked freelance in evenings for a hosting company creating websites.Websites in recent years were creating using HTML 5 + CSS3 + Bootstrap. I self studied and switched to Wordpress to edit and create templates and using existing templates to design a custom website.I have a strong eye for detail and creating a website that will boost the company on the value and product they are selling. I create user friendly websites that are aesthetically pleasing and detail orientated for a pleasant and knowledgeable browsing experience.

Worked for a start up company ahead of it's time creating offline XML magazines and digital catalogues to the business industry. Clients included universities for course content, tourism brochures etc.I worked as a secretary and assisted with filing and basic book keeping. I later learnt to create my own custom program skins using XML and photoshop. I assisted with data capturing content into the catalogues
