I am currently a Senior History major at Eastern Oregon University with a minor in Business Administration, who hopes to begin a successful career upon completion of my degree over this year. After working for 8 years in offices I am looking forward to gaining more hands on experience in the fields of historical research, business management and professional genealogy in my career. I excel when working, to support others, to collaborate effectively and to put my skill set to the test.I have lived in Eastern Oregon all of my life, and I love it here. With my family always in the forefront of my professional decisions, I ultimately hope to find a career locally, or one that will allow me to work from home or within a relatively short commute. My five year plan ultimately includes being able to use my skill set, including business administration, management, history, research, writing, editing, providing office support, and exceptional organization, in my future career. I feel that my education at EOU is giving me a well-rounded knowledge and understanding of history, historical research and writing, marketing, accounting, and professional business editing and writing. I look forward to utilizing these skills to allow me to establish a fulfilling and effective career.
