I worked as an analyst for the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology), Chief of Operations, Plans and Strategy. My focus is on long-term planning and requires the creation and routine updates of documents that enable the department as a whole to plan strategically.

I previously worked for the Air Force as an executive assistant and workflow manager in their international affairs organization. As part of this position, I supported two members of the Senior Executive Service (SESes), the equivalents of two-star and one-star generals, which required managing their schedules and helping them with any issues as they arose. I was also workflow manager for a directorate of over one hundred people which means that I was required to make sure work kept flowing via a tool known as Task Management Tool or TMT as well as managing taskers sent via email. I prepared packages for coordination both within the Headquarters Air Force and externally with the different major commands in the Air Force and Space Force as well as preparing packages for signature by the Secretary of the Air Force, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, and the Chief of Space Operations. I also arranged travel for the SESes I supported and completed paperwork for them including for passports. I also trained multiple incoming FMS Analysts, preparing them for their new positions and helping them become comfortable.

As an employee of GAP Solutions, Inc, I worked as a federal contractor at the Foreign Service Institute. I primarily helped run seminars that ranged in length from one to 28 days. My responsibilities included coordinating with audio-visual services and printing for tasks ranging from creation of a banner to editing a booklet that is published multiple times per year. I monitored our stock of pamphlets so that we were well supplied for seminars. In preparation for seminars, I packed the supplies and helped set up the classroom. During the seminar, I helped with logistics throughout the day. I maintained records and put together schedules. One seminar was an e-seminar and I helped to monitor the equipment during the seminar. I also created a pamphlet that summarized the information in my division’s larger booklets. I occasionally provided tech support for other staff and instructors.

At EMET, I worked under the direction of the Strategic Advisor who primarily focused on fundraising activities. With minimal instruction, I performed corporate prospect research and completed data entry for grant proposals, and coordinated mass mailing projects. I also assisted with preparing for EMET’s annual fundraising dinner, and contributed to its mission by researching and writing articles, one of which was published on WorldNetDaily.

I was initially hired by this obstetrics and gynecology practice as a Medical Records Assistant to help with filing and coordinating the scanning of several hundred multi-page medical charts. After the scanning was complete, I became the Digitization Specialist, responsible for verifying the accuracy of each chart for the doctors. The initial scanning process was flawed, which required me to review the scan of each chart, compare it to the original file, maintain a report of errors, and rescan each chart that had errors. In total, I reviewed and verified more than 500 charts.
