Digital Solutions - Ongoing development and evolution of UMS Group’s flagship Spend Optimization Suite (SOS) and Distribution Reliability eXcellence (DRx) software products (including Weather Guard and EV Prophet applications) and all other UMS Group digital solutions. Manages the in-house programming team in building new features, functionality and machine learning models, covering all aspects in the product development lifecycle from design specifications through to testing and roll-out. Also supports all digital solution client configuration and implementation work.

Has worked on numerous utility, strategic sourcing, and government engagements, pinpointing asset optimization and performance improvement opportunities and recommending measures for closing performance gaps. Highlights include:Asset Mgmt – Director of the product development and implementation team of UMS Group’s web-based Spend Optimization Suite (SOS) application. Responsible for overseeing all development efforts related to the SOS and supervising the client implementation process. Leads the facilitation and planning of the annual UMS Spend Optimization and Asset Management User Forum. Prior to expansion of the SOS into a 5 module integrated web platform, frequently served as PM and SME on client implementations. Actively involved in refining the UMS AM Assessment methodology to align with PAS55 guidelines. Worked with a Canadian Gas Utility in analyzing and assimilating questionnaire and interview data to determine the maturity level of the utility in the creation of a true AM Org. Performance Diagnostics – extensive experience working with all UMS utility benchmarking programs, including CS, Distribution, and Transmission focus areas. Acted as the Program Lead for the CS Benchmarking Program for a 3-year period. Business Case Dev. and Implementation Planning – Served as a team facilitator in the development of detailed and compelling CS/Meter-to-Cash business case initiatives. Process Redesign – facilitated the redesign of the CS organization of an Alaskan utility. Played a supporting role in the redesign of several core AM processes of a large Californian utility. Strategic Sourcing – Assumed a primary role in several key outsourcing initiatives of Fortune 500 clients by writing and analyzing RFI/RFPs.Performance Mgmt – Worked to create key perf indicators to support the implementation of a strategic asset management model. Designed a perf mgmt tool tracking monthly and yearly performance metrics for a large Middle Eastern Utility.

Employed as a summer intern within an internal consulting group devising cost containment and reduction strategies for $500 million in spend for the Global Purchasing Organization.

Worked on various temporary secretarial and administrative assignments. Completed a ten-week position as the Executive Assistant to the General Manager of a large property management firm. Received two commendations for high quality work.
