In my role as a postdoctoral researcher, I've maintained my trilogy of duties: research, teaching and clinical. My clinical duties now mostly focus on patients enrolled in various clinical trials. I've taken up more teaching commitments and duties, such as graduate thesis supervision. Furthermore, since September 2021 I'm involved in teaching in the postgraduate specialist study programme of Dental implantology in the Croatian language in the following course: Parodontologija I.

Full-time teaching and research assistant at the Department of Periodontology, School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb.Since the year 2015 I'm involved in teaching in the integrated undergraduate and graduate study programme of Dental Medicine in Croatian and English language in the following courses: Pretklinička parodontologija, Klinička parodontologija, Periimplantatne bolesti, Dentalna medicine starije životne dobi, Preclinical periodontology, Clinical Periodontology.I am also involved and teach in the yearly course of Nonsurgical periodontal treatment which is part of the continuing education programme for graduate doctors of dental medicine.I take part in research activities of my Department, and have been involved in several non-interventional and interventional studies. I have served and am currently serving as a therapist in 3 clinical trials (1 multicentre).

Hrvatsko društvo estetske dentalne medicine (Croatian Academy of Aesthetic Dental Medicine) is a professional, non-profit, educational society promoting clinical and technological excellence in aesthetic dental medicine. In my role as one of the society's board members, I particularly focus on the creation of all written content (administrative, communication, social media).

A Periodontist's Notebook is my online writing/blogging platform that allows me to discover, explore, question and reflect on the fascinating world of Periodontology, daily clinical stories and my personal experiences as a periodontist. Under the wing of Periocampus Herald, A Periodontist's Notebook aims to provide educational content through an unconventional approach to teaching Periodontology.The name of the blog is inspired by one of the works of the grand physican-writers, Mikhail Bulgakov, and aspires to follow the long tradition of physicians with a penchant for the written word, the likes of Anton Chekhov, Oliver Sacks, Atul Gawande, Henry Marsh and Paul Kalanithi.

Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) is a systematic, evidence-based clinical treatment protocol, behind which stands the pioneer in oral prophylaxis, EMS.As a GBT trainer, certified by the Swiss Dental Academy, I teach the protocol and its applications to oral healthcare professionals in Croatia, within dental practices and educational event settings.

Postgraduate clinical specialty training in Periodontology

Sonda ("The Dental Probe") is an editorially independent student journal, published semi-annually at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb.It publishes professional and scientific papers (non-peer reviewed, written by students, supervised by the School's teaching staff) and other texts related to dentistry, as well as reports on School's student activities. Activities of the editor included:- evaluating and editing content- text and art proofreading - cross-checking citations and examining references- contributing editorial pieces

Students' sections ("Studentske sekcije") is a student project founded in March 2013 at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb encouraging and providing additional education for the School's students. Students, mentored and supervised by the School's teaching staff members, give lectures in some of the domains that are not covered within the official educational curriculum.

Coordinator of the student initiative/project "Geronto projekt" at the School of Dental Medicine, University of Zagreb. The initiative, supervised by Professor Adnan Ćatović, DMD, PhD aims to raise the awareness of the importance of oral health in the elderly population.Volunteering activities included: - visits to elderly/retirement homes, providing education on oral health for the residents and in-house medical personnel, tailored OHI and demonstration of oral hygiene- education of younger students on oral findings and oral changes (physiological/pathological) related to age (geriatric dentistry)- organizational and administrative work - arranging sponsorships (oral hygiene products) & visits to the elderly homes- social media communication
