I am an experienced board director, senior banking executive and small business entrepreneur with over thirty years experience. At board level, I bring substantial governance experience from leading large and complex organisational transformations. My strengths as a director include the ability to create a ‘fit for purpose’ focus on culture, connecting the dots between Purpose, Strategy and Values as part of the decision-making process together with bringing financial, operational risk and governance expertise.I do this by being a purpose and values led director who seeks to understand the context shifts in the global macro and local micro environment. I believe in the power of collaboration, I value divergent opinions and I am comfortable asking inquisitive and tough questions to inform decision making and enable companies to remain relevant for decades to come.My board director experience includes my six year term on the Small Business Development Corporation board together with my two board directorship positions of ANZ subsidiaries. I am currently a Board Member of Tennis West, Chair of the Finance, Audit, Investment, Risk [FAIR] committee and member of the Governance, People, Culture [GPC] committee. In my senior executive banking roles at ANZ, I was privileged to lead large customer, people, profit and loss front line, end to end businesses across different countries. This was complemented with the opportunity to work for the Group CEO on key group wide transformational priorities, the first being ANZ’s Purpose-Led transformation and most recently a review the Bank’s strategic partnerships and eco-systems. Since founding BE Advisory, I continue to draw on my board and executive experience, working with Boards, CEOs and ExCo's to define or reframe their organisational Purpose, Strategy and Values and embed a culture of positive change. To support my work, I am an accredited practitioner of the globally renowned Barrett Values Centre's 'Barrett Culture Assessment' program.Oh and I love to go on long walks, and as I say that I even surprise myself! I've done end to end hikes on the Cape to Cape in WA (~126ks) & Great Ocean Walk in Victoria (~105ks) and some of the Bibbulmun in WA (DM me to chat all things hiking and planning spreadsheets). I’ve also done six marathons in five years, walking 42ks overnight, raising +$3k in donations for Ronald McDonald House which makes me smile.I like to think of my professional purpose as being one where I energise leaders to be authentically kind, purposefully bold and surprisingly joyous.

Founder And PrincipalBe Advisory (A Board And Executive Advisory Service) May 2021 - PresentPerth, Western Australia, AustraliaDrawing on my board and executive experience, I work with Boards, CEOs and Executive teams to define or reframe their organisational Purpose, Strategy and Values and embed a culture of positive impact. Guided by sector specific global macro trends, I bring thought-leadership to a Board’s annual strategic review process by facilitating and guiding boardroom conversation, debate and alignment.Additionally, as a certified practitioner of the Barrett Culture Assessment, I guide CEOs and Executive teams through a consciously aware process of harnessing the power of their organisation to create a positive impact in the world. The Barrett Values Centre is globally renowned and helps organisations by developing and aligning leaders and culture to achieve long-term organisational success. They are pioneers of values assessments and cultural transformations.I believe in the power of curiosity and courage, camaraderie and inclusion, humility and gratefulness, which can bring people together in the moments that matter most, as leaders ‘dial up’ a profound connection with their individual purpose, thereby having the strength of character to make purposeful decisions for their organisations.
