Larissa Brown Email and Phone Number

Over the past five years, I have competed as a member of Canada’s track and field team. I have competed both national and internationally in the 100m, 200m, 400m, high jump and long jump. Currently, I am training out of York University at the Hub. This past year I have trained in Grenada, Florida and Arizona. I have had the privilege of competing at World’s in Switzerland, at the Desert Challenge in Arizona and Nationals in Ottawa and Calgary. Having the role of a semi-professional athlete has made me understand what true dedication, perseverance and discipline mean.Being fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to represent my country on an international level, allows me to develop my skills. However, when I am not at the track I enjoy volunteering at my old Dance Studio. As well, I give motivational speeches to high school and junior high students regarding the challenges and barriers athletes face and overcome. ​Presently, I am taking various courses at George Brown College.
