Management of the Accreditation and Monitoring Team within the accreditation unit overseeing the assessment of government and non government agencies across the out of home care sector.Implementation of changing Standards and introduction of field rather than desk based assessment.Design and review of regulatory framework in relation to accreditation within the legislative framework.Liaison with stakeholders to improve the quality of out of home care.Leadership and strategic direction.

Assessment and review of non government agencies seeking accreditation against the NSW OOHC Standards and associated legislation and guidelines.Development and implementation of strategies to support agencies attempting to achieve accreditation.Development of tools, resources and programs to address areas of poor compliance.

Research, develop and manage consultations with children and young people across NSW on a range of issues affecting their wellbeing.Preparation of submissions and responses to Parliamentary Inquiry's, Cabinet Minutes, proposed legislation and correspondence.Development of "Kids in Casework" to enhance participation for children and young people in human services casework. This was a cross portfolio initiative with Juvenile Justice, Department of Ageing and Disability and Home Care and Community Services.

Research and prepare policy advice on the implementation of independent accreditation in Juvenile Justice Centres.Development of the Department's Corporate Plan in consultation with Senior Executive and Centre management.Provision of internal and external policy advice on operational matters, critical incidents and media reports.
