I am a budding professional in architecture and the built environment, dedicated to embedding sustainability, equity, and social justice in my work. As a member of the LEED Technical Development Team, I contribute to promoting equitable solutions in LEED v5 and across the organization. Previously, as the 2022 LEED for Cities Equity Fellow, I supported local governments in achieving equity goals during their pursuit of LEED certification. This involved conducting an Equity Scan, assessing industry dynamics and addressing equity at the city scale. I've shared insights from this role at USGBC Live and Greenbuild in 2022.I hold a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in Construction Management from Drexel University. My passion for research extends to anthropology, culture, and people. In 2021, I earned a certificate from MoMA’s “Reimagining Blackness and Architecture,” delving deeper into the Black spatial experience. This exploration influenced my senior thesis project, aptly titled “Black Space Reimagined: Reclaiming Resilience,” a cultural arts center and museum promoting community engagement through sustainable design, shared public spaces, and revitalizing public amenities away from tourism.I previously worked with the non-profit startup Normal Next in their C/Corps program, collaborating with a team on projects addressing climate change, equity, and public health for public leaders. This included content development and interviews for the future Jacksonville Area Music Museum.In my free time, I enjoy yoga, painting, and tending to my many houseplants. I am also a photographer, engaging in portraits, fashion, and product branding, including exploration into film photography.
