I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist experienced working with adolescents and adults in the areas of developmental and shock trauma, sexual and family violence including human trafficking, organized abuse, emotional regulation, grief, depression, anxiety, and relationship dynamics.I provide individual and couples therapy. My approach is psycho-dynamic through an attachment lens, with strong grounding in parts work (IFS, Structural Dissociation model, Trauma-informed Stabilization Treatment) and somatic therapy. I also use DBT, hypnosis, and EMDR, depending on what is needed. Individually, I will be interested in understanding your family history and helping you see how your history has shaped your personal narrative as well as reconnect you with your body. I use different techniques, depending on where you're stuck and on your personality. In all cases, together, we'll explore your nervous system responses and seek to understand what drives your thoughts and behaviors and keeps you from living the life you want. For couples, I specialize in high-conflict couples, using my understanding of trauma to help you regulate during sessions, understand your reactions, and begin relating in ways that are more effective.
