Communications Manager
Current• Create high-impact print and digital marketing assets including monthly e-newsletters, e-appeals, graphics, outreach event collateral, and other communications as needed to promote HRS programs/services, adoption and foster programs and educational initiatives• Develop and execute multiple digital fundraising campaigns each year, including last year’s record-breaking $78,000 Giving Tuesday drive• Produce educational materials in collaboration with HRS’ staff veterinarian, medical advisor, and national rabbit welfare task forces• Manage social media calendar and social media platforms, promoting HRS’ adoption, volunteer, foster, educational, medical, and community programs while monitoring comments and direct messages, responding as needed • Manage volunteer team of writers, designers, and photographers to create assets for HRS website, fundraising campaigns, and publications • Serve as editor of House Rabbit Journal, HRS’ biannual print magazine, overseeing production and distribution to 5,000+ members• Accurately record and track all donor activity in donor database • Lead efforts to attract and retain monthly Bunny Brigade donors, resulting in a $20,000 increase in monthly giving last year • Develop, implement, and manage all donor cultivation and stewardship communications throughout the year, including thank you notes, gift memberships, matching gift opportunities, and year-end tax statements for monthly donors • Serve as an ambassador for and central liaison between donors and HRS• Assist with events as needed, including outreach adoption events, public vaccine clinics, and annual holiday bazaar
