Hi there!My name is Larissa and I'm a Computational Linguist, Translator, Transcriptionist and undergraduate student in Linguistics at the University of Campinas (Unicamp). I've always been passionate about different languages, especially English, which I started to learn when I was only 10. In addition to English, I have intermediate level in Spanish, and I recently began to study French. I have experience in Translation (PT-BR/English), Annotation and Language Teaching. In college, I was an entry-level researcher who developed studies on the speech of Fortaleza, the city I used to live. I finished college in 2021, but after that I decided to pursue another degree, so currently I intend to get a certificate of Computational and Experimental Methods in Linguistics as a way to specialize in Computational Linguistics. Concerning my professional experience, I've taught Portuguese, English, and worked as a translator for 3 years. I also have experience working as a Social Media Evaluator and Transcriptionist at international companies, such as Appen and Lionbridge. More recently, I've been working as a Computational Linguist Intern at SiDi, one of the greatest AI specialized institutes in Brazil. I'm currently learning more about ASR and TTS fields and I'm improving my skills in Python, especially in regard to Regular Expressions and NLTK.
