Tech lead for many projects both large and small, all of which include working closely with clients to review and create requirements, estimating projects, compiling necessary documentation, creating acceptance criteria, assigning work to developers across the project team, and leading code reviews. Helped to create a global style core with brand themes to reduce style refresh time needed for each of the 15 brands within one particular codebase. Worked with multiple teams to integrate React.js into the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform for various implementations, including single page checkout experiences and product detail pages. Personally, as a senior developer on the team, I've set my focus on accessibility on the web and manageability of the codebase, while mentoring junior devs on best practices.As Interface Team Lead, I manage a team of five local and remote interface developers, which includes bi-weekly one-on-ones, setting yearly goals, tracking career progression, and working together to find training courses, certifications, and conferences that interest my teammates.

Joined the Enterprise E-commerce Team and dove head-first into support, maintain, and optimize a legacy style-base for 15 brands spread across multiple locales on the Demandware platform. I've worked closely with clients to create brand new implementations on Demandware, including developing styles, templates, and utilities for a fully responsive website, with custom features such as an icon font and easy-to-use image sets. I've also had the chance to start from scratch, by completely ripping out all styles for a website on IBM's WebSphere Commerce platform, and rebuilding templates to be both responsive and accessible. I built the new style core to be modular, scalable, and content-editor friendly, with a living style guide including plug-and-play code snippets for easy content management.

Contract-to-hire position with CQL Corp.

Contract developer on-site at the Dow Chemical Company. Started out as a Content Tech, adding press releases to internal content management system. Quickly moved on to a full Front-End Developer role, bending that content management system to my will in order to create custom websites and online calculators for various in-house clients, including: Dow AgroSciences, Dow Water and Process Solutions, Dow Automotive, Dow Home and Personal Care, and Dow Building Solutions. I also designed and developed custom interactive kiosk experiences to showcase Dow's partnership with the International Olympic Committee, located on-site at Sochi 2014. Helped to build the front-end framework for moving various sites from an older Teamsite implementation to a unified Sitecore set of templates and themes.
