As a career connector coordinator at Hiring Our Heroes, I help soldiers and their families transition from military to civilian life. I use my master's degree in strategic communications from the University of Maryland Global Campus to create and deliver effective, engaging messages and resources for our clients and partners. I also leverage my clerical, organizational, and communication skills to coordinate events, workshops, and networking opportunities for the military community.My passion for helping others stems from my experience as a military spouse. I have lived in different countries and cultures and learned to adapt and thrive in diverse and dynamic environments. I have also volunteered for various organizations, such as the Soldier and Family Readiness Group and Girl Scouts of the USA. Through these roles, I have supported and empowered soldiers and their families in various aspects of their lives, such as relocation, integration, and education.
