I studied the reaction of boron nitride nanotubes to extreme environments. My work includes characterization of the tubes using a scanning electron microscope, FTIR, and UV-visible spectroscopy. The majority of my data analysis is done in Matlab. My responsibilities also include a weekly presentation to senior researchers and other interns about the progress of my work.

Complex Fluids Lab

I worked on a project studying the viscosity of active suspensions, which included the design and fabrication of an in situ pressure sensing device for a microfluidic channel. I utilized soft lithography techniques in a cleanroom setting for mold fabrication for the channel. The majority of my data analysis was done in Matlab

I graded problems sets for physics courses including introductory courses, waves and optics, and quantum mechanics.
