• In addition to boarding key sequences, I work closely with the Head of Story to support the story team and bring the directors’ vision to life. I launch artists on work, then review and give notes on that work so it may be approved and moved promptly to the Editorial team. I give feedback to creative leadership in brainstorms, editorial sessions and brain trust discussions.• I assist the Head of Story with casting sequences based on individual artists’ strengths and the needs of the production, as well as participate in performance reviews and hiring decisions.• I am currently leading the “Internal Story Trainee Program” wherein selected non-story artists from within the studio will train to become full-time story artists. I have also provided coaching to new mentors in the department as they take on mentoring roles.• My collaborator and I launched a short film project “Moon Chickens” to be completed with studio artists volunteering their downtime. Unfortunately, the project had to be put on hold because of the pandemic shut-down and the demands of NIMONA.• Credit: Nimona (scheduled to be released 2022)

• In addition to tackling complex and emotional sequences, I mentored or co-mentored over a dozen interns and trainees. Taught classes in English to high school students in Gunma prefecture, Japan. Prepared lesson plans and lead classes.

Taught students and faculty how to use the latest image, video and sound editing software and hardware to fulfill their multimedia needs.
