I am a graduate of Florida State University in Political Science with a minor in English and literature. I am a Tallahassee local, born and raised in rural Florida with a determined commitment to our planet. Through my adolescence and into adulthood, I have participated in volunteer and community outreach programs across the Leon County area, including the Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Tallahassee Program, Class 8, and many register to vote campaigns across the South East. I attended our local county commission meetings to advocate for environmental issues and logged hundreds of hours of community improvement volunteer work. Recently, I worked with the Tallahassee mayor’s chief of staff, Thomas Whitley, on a mental health outreach program based on similar dispatch response initiatives around the nation. I contributed research on other programs which helped lead to initiation and funding for a local program. This is just one of the many ways I have volunteered to help make Tallahassee a better place for everyone to live. Additionally, I have worked for two years in a consistently high pressure work environment producing and rapidly editing documents for a diverse team. I am a trained live-audio engineer, professional photographer, and dedicated performer in every position I have taken. Above all, I am here to work for a better future for all.
