Served as Regional Lead for food security analysis in the East Africa and the Latin America and Caribbean regions. Directly responsible for analysis of South Sudan, Somalia, Uganda, and Kenya in collaboration with field-based, national teams and for various remote monitoring activities in Latin America. Conducted analysis of food security outcome indicator data and synthesized data across relevant sectors (e.g., livelihoods, agroclimatology, markets and trade, conflict, acute malnutrition) to develop early warning acute food insecurity information products. Delivered reports and briefings on ongoing and anticipated food insecurity crises to USAID and other humanitarian relief agencies. Represented FEWS NET and provided technical assistance at Integrated Food Security Phase Classification workshops.

Conducted desk research and key informant interviews to inform project proposals on agricultural market systems development, food security, resilience, and rural financial services. Wrote technical and management sections for new business proposals. Captured organizational knowledge in support of Chemonics’ multi-million-dollar agriculture and food security portfolio.

Provided finance, procurement, and contract compliance support to the $21 million Feed the Future Uganda Commodity Production and Marketing Activity and three field offices in Uganda, Ethiopia, and Sudan for the Famine Early Warning Systems Network. Undertook assignments in Ethiopia, Sudan, and Uganda to manage task order transition and project closeout procedures.

Collected and analyzed data on payment product needs in major Base of the Pyramid markets in Africa, South America, and South Asia. Contributed to the design of a market segmentation framework to inform product design, predict product adoption, and identify target segments for market entry.

Department of Financial & Enterprise Affairs, Investment DivisionAnalyzed OECD member governments'​ CSR policy and outreach activities and contributed to strategic planning for the OECD's efforts to promote CSR policy coherence and best corporate practices in Myanmar. Drafted the 2014 Chair’s Report on The OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and presented key findings to the Working Party on Responsible Business Conduct.

Planned and coordinated health, employment, and resettlement services to assist 400+ refugees from Somalia, Myanmar, Iraq, and other conflict-affected countries to attain economic self-sufficiency and integrate into their new communities. Trained and supervised 7 staff on timely delivery of services and data management in compliance with PRM cooperative agreement and state-level contract requirements. Responsible for resolving concerns brought forward by refugees and community partners and developing strategies to improve office best practices, mitigate risks to refugees' economic security, and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

Worked with newly resettled refugees on an individual basis to remove barriers to employment and strengthen their capacity to become self-sufficient.
