Facilitate, strengthen and deepen local- and state-level partnership-building and community trainings on voting and electoral rights, and promoting and sustaining year-round civic engagement

- Served approximately 4,700 students which increased outreach from Spring 2022 to Fall 2022 by 505%.- Increase programing by 400% in efforts to have creative initiatives that would expand the pantry’s reach- Increased pantry coordinators by 475% and added additional satellite panties at three college campuses. - Implemented new strategic procedures and systems for the pantry to accommodate the growing capacity (ie. new database systems, new training workshops and new feedback evaluation methods). - Collaborated with 15+ new and long-standing corporate, community, and donation-generating partners.

- Funded over $300,000 to our partners to run coordinated voter mobilization, education, and outreach campaigns, targeting their peers and communities for both the 2022 Georgia General and Runoff elections. - Engaged voters by planning and executing 7 coalition initiatives and supporting 40 partner initiatives that emphasized intersectionality and how the issues at the heart of our communities are impacted by voting. - Facilitated community-building and long-term collaboration between 15 youth-led, local, statewide and national organizations. - Utilized digital campaign systems such as VAN and Hustle to reach over 2 million voters through texts, calls, and door knocking in partnership with our coalition members.

The National Youth Works Committee is a sub-committee of the National Board of the Directors. It is the responsibility of the committee members to recommend to the Board of Directors policy, advocacy, and programmatic activities pertaining to the civil rights concerns of African American and other young people, oversee the implementation of these programs and policies, recommend policies to increase the advocacy capacity of the Association's youth units, and consult with the President and CEO, Derrick Johnson, to recommend annual work plans and resources to effectively implement youth programs.

Spelman College

Responsible for the execution of the voter engagement plan including but not limited to voter registration and voter education activities at Spelman, leading national leadership and voter engagement webinars, organizing skill-building and historical-context discussion blocks around areas including digital organizing and redistricting, form and expand on and off campus coalitions and network with fellows from all across the country to advocate for national civic engagement initiates.
