1, Work with Bose engineering team to 1) create test plans, 2) develop, implement and troubleshoot test sequences, and 3) design, verify, and troubleshoot acoustic test fixtures.2, Understand the functions and maintenance of acoustic test hardware and software, the acoustic measurements performed, and the product knowledge needed to support test.3, Help to coordinate GR&R and other test experiments to ensure data quality and robustness and help document test processes and production test results.4, Frequent travel to support Bose product builds, primarily in the southeast China region, but occasionally in other worldwide locations.5, Work to troubleshoot acoustic test issues, run necessary troubleshooting experiments, collect data, and report out to ATG, Bose Engineering, and Bose management as necessary.

1, Product acoustic design, including transducer T-S parameterscalculation and enclosure configuration (Seal, Vented, PR, Bandbassetc.) based on targed enclosure net volume and low frequencyextension.2, Transducer acoustic simulation based on the target T-S parametersand power rating.3, Transducer 3D drawing.4, Acoustic tests for both transducers and speaker systems, includingfrequency response, impedance, THD, Rubb & Buzz, Loose Particles,Intermodulations etc.5, Acoustic calculation and simulation based on the test data derivedfrom the last step, including T-S parameters derivation from thetransducer impedance, Effective enclosure net volume calculationconsidering acoustic filling, Vent or PR configuration for theassociated fB tuning etc.6, Crossover design for passive speakers.7, Voicing speakers by applying EQ, DEQ and DRC etc.8, Acoustic performance confirmation and sign-off of reference sample.9, Acoustic performance failure analysis and solutions.
