Responsible for all connections, steel and assemblies relating to the buildings are accurate and representative of engineering drawings.o Create and ensure accuracy of all assembly and single part drawingso Daily interaction with structural engineers to resolve design issues and remedy interference's with other discipline equipment / design layoutso Model building, floor framing, walls, skids, structures, connections and supports in SP3D and Teklao Model building floor / wall / roof concrete slabs using Teklao Develop connections in Tekla for use project wideo Use custom BIM tools to integrate structural model for planning / scheduling / construction activitieso Create 2D Assembly drawings, general arrangement plans, elevations, sections and details in Teklao Create 2D drawings of concrete and rebar using Teklao Detail building steel using Teklao Standardize 2D drawing layout, presentation and continuity amongst the structural design teams for multiple aspects of the UPF project.o Assist / train other designers in the use of 3D modeling tools Tekla and SP3Do Assist / train other designers in the use of 2D drawing creation using Teklao Read / maintain / coordinate work based upon project P-6 scheduleo Attend weekly designer meetings to coordinate design and facilitate delegation of work to the design team.
