Providing detailed drawings showing floor layouts with required locations for current Code Compliance.Led Lighting upgrades in multiple buildings providing detailed drawings showing model, part numbers, detailed floor layout including required locations, pricing and vendor information to increase illumination decrease energy consumption and reducing heat in the facility.Creating necessary Budgetary CER for multiple annual projects. Involved in implementing the use of RTU / Mobus/Ethernet IP /Remote I/O.Sharpening my skills with Allen Bradley, Indramat, Sew , Parker Hydraulics and Sure Servo Drives, more regularly involved in Indramat and Sew and Sure Servo servo drives.Founda new interest working with Automation Direct and their other family of products that work well together such as their GS2 drives (VFD's) and ViewMarq Message displays providing communication between the PLC and Drives and displays.One of my favorite accomplishments was working with Facility Central Helium leak Tester that was a maintenance problematic issue installing a C More HMI panel and providing programming replacing a obsolete Siemens OP35 HMI no longer supported and previous programmed from Europe in a languish their own. After many hours of research and the replacement of the current S5 processor to a Allen Bradley SLC 5/05 to support Ethernet communication to the new C-More panel using pictures taken by cell phone camera and embedded symbols from symbol factory library I was able to provide a HMI panel with enough information the operators were capable of performing their own repairs reducing maintenance calls by 75% increasing overall efficiency.Working 35% of the time as Multi Craft Maintenance Technician involved in typical electrical and mechanical equipment repairs providing preventative maintenance on weekends. It was a hard decision for me to resign from this position but with the encouragement and coaxing from the management team at Riviana Foods I returned to Riviana foods as their control Engineer/supervisor.

Working with Electrical/Mechanical drawings I enrolled at Alvin College and completed courses in AutoCAD necessary for me to provide additional updates to projects and documentation. Providing needed Electrical prints needed for the IE Technicians and Packaging maintenance techs.to succeed in their daily task. Working with Boilers and Burner Management systems providing improvements to the electrical and process controls.My greatest achievement was improving packaging product transfer system that for years caused downtime increasing damaged products and waste and adding labor cost with research innovation and automation.. Protecting consumers improving tracking of the product ensuring the proper amount of ingredients added to safe guard against equipment malfunctions. Final end of production in Houston we transfered main packaging lines to the new Memphis Tennessee facility. Traveling weekly to support the relocation and provide necassary programming to Memphis packaging facility. After completion of the transfers and installation of Packaging lines to the new Riviana Foods Memphis facility. I returned to the Houston Facility To finalize the finale transfer of equipment to other Riviana facilities and Dispose of Documentation and files then closing the doors.At the end of June 2010 I was offered the position of the Electrical / Automation Supervisor in Memphis and the chance to relocate however I declined the offer.
