I have been with KPMG for 40 years. I am currently the Global Head of Audit for KPMG International and a member of the Global Management Team, a role that I also held from 2013-2015. In my role, I have the privilege to lead a global organization of more than 90,000 dedicated audit professionals in 143 countries helping to drive insights by blending some of the best technology with the best people. We empower people, including young audit professionals, who can tap into a diverse set of multi-disciplinary skills and capabilities to help provide independent measurement, validation and quality assurance, for example in the rapidly growing area of ESG.Previously, I was the lead audit signing partner on numerous Global and Fortune 500 companies. I also served on various boards of directors for KPMG nationally, regionally, and globally. I have been one of the SEC reviewing partners at the firm for 25 years. I am also fortunate to serve on the Board of Directors at Bottom Line, a U.S. national not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting low-income, first-generation students of color. Additionally, I’m on the Global Advisory Board of Accounting for Sustainability (A4S), part of the King Charles III Charitable Fund (KCCF). A4S is an organization established by HM King Charles III in 2004 that aims to inspire action by finance leaders to drive a fundamental shift towards resilient business models and a sustainable economy.
