I have over 15 years of experience working in management and support roles in multiple fields including retail, human resources, finance, marketing and education. I have been a team member on many executive and core teams.My desire to one day start a public relations and marketing firm pushes me towards pursuing my bachelors in Mediated Communication at Hiram College. I’ve been working in that time at Mosaic/Microsoft as a Merchandising Specialist, Brand Ambassador and currently a Market Managerin the Microsoft Windows Program. I am very knowledgeable of the current retail landscape today and how important brand messaging is to the success of technology and services companies. Working with Microsoft has been a rewarding and engaging experience. I have further developed my sales and communication skills and increased my level of productivity and effectiveness in my position over the time in the program.In my role, I have held formal trainings for client retail sales associates, on a store and district level, customers and fellow managers. I effectively communicate brand messages, customer feedback and client request to management in retail locations and across the nation. I utilize to the tools provided to me and take initiative to create enhanced tools to help increase my performance and those of others. This is the internal drive and leadership I posses that I would like to nourish. I seek to apply my management, teaching and leadership skills to continue my path in the field of marketing. I am a committed, intelligent and effective leader that can help a team achieve goals through positive reinforcement, diligent instruction, clear communication and decisive strategies focused on success.
