Support Layer 2 services (e-line, e-LAN), Internet services, DIA, BGP, and Core network.•Project support of Ethernet services. Which include NOC acceptance process, commissioning support, provisioning support & testing support.•OAMP support (network/system applications). Troubleshoot, isolate and fix OAMP issues. Assist in visibility portion of the network element (NE) insertion to the network, and provide support to NOC monitoring applications.•Identify network faults in a proactive approach and modify incident tickets

•Responsible for surveillance of optical network•Identify network faults in a proactive approach and create incident tickets. •Utilize management tools such as Wavestar-CIT, Preside, INC, DNA, Site Manager, Netcool and Alcatel-SAM to assist in determination of events. •Troubleshoot SONET and MPLS networks (DS0, DS1, DS3, OC-n as well as E1 to STM-n, and Ethernet rates up to 100Gbps, VPN, P2P, M2M) •Act as focal point during network outages and lead fiber cut isolation until field operations physically locates. •Troubleshoot, isolate and fix IP/Ethernet troubles while effectively communicating with customers during and after course of troubleshooting.•Support Layer 2 services (FTTCS-Ethernet, EOS (Ethernet over SONET), FTTB and customer Edge devices.•Work with Alcatel Routing/Switching equipment such as 7750 core routers and 7210 service access switches to isolate and fix IP/Ethernet troubles.

•Provide Tier 1/Tier2 Support to corporate as well as external customers to ensure proper documentation of customer problems and satisfactory resolutions.•Use Remedy ticketing system to log and track cases.•Monitor Nortel, Alcatel-Lucent and other network nodes via Netcool.•Perform initial troubleshooting of DS0, DS1, DS3 and OC-N circuits to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance.•Utilize management tools such as Wavestar-CIT, Preside, INC, DNA and SAM to assist in determination of events.•Work with different equipment consisting of Lucent DMX, Lambda Unite optical switch, Nortel OM3500/3400/5200 and Nortel legacy equipment such as OC192 DX, OC48 Classic and Turins.•Initial troubleshooting of IP/Ethernet troubles.•Perform network equipment acceptances.

• Provide desktop support for over 200 users over the phone, remotely or in person as needed to minimize system downtime.• Create and maintain user accounts in Active Directory; modify users’ access rights through policy and placement of appropriate groups.• Create and maintain user accounts (mailboxes, aliases, etc) in MS Exchange 2007.• Create and maintain user accounts in Blackberry Enterprise Server; program Blackberry devices as needed through Enterprise Activation.• Manipulate user information in Cisco Call Manager; assign new devices to extensions; reset Voicemail passwords; assign new notification devices; deploy Cisco IP phones (7965, 7975) as needed.• Monitor network devices and traffic via WhatsUpGold.• Monitor system backups via Symantec Backup Exec; restore jobs as needed while conforming to company’s guidelines and policies.• Support Micros POS systems and printers; program new items and prices into system; create Menu screens as needed.• Install, upgrade and troubleshoot computer systems and other network peripherals.

•Attend to daily operations of Gift Shop and Arcade venues.•Troubleshoot, repair and general maintenance of Arcade machinery.•Keep inventory control of machinery and game cash accounting.•General customer support and operation of cash register.
