I am a Certified Public Accountant that has been an auditor and consultant in public accounting and the financial services industry for over 15 years. During my career, I have provided internal and external audit services specializing in financial institutions from de novo institutions to institutions with assets in the billions. I have also assisted, developed, performed and sustained an enterprise wide risk assessment; a risk based internal audit program; performed lending, deposit, BSA/AML, NACHA and other compliance audits; performed model validation; and SOX 404 testing of key controls. I worked 3 years as internal audit manager at a community bank which provided me valuable insight into the operations of community banks. I also have experience dealing with employee benefit plans including 401(K) plans, cash balance pension plans, pension plans, employee stock ownership plans, health & welfare plans and multi-employer benefit plans.
