Product Stewardship (PS) & Dangerous Goods (DG) Accountabilities: Manager of global PS program. Duties are the implementing and managing of product stewardship processes/procedures, manage trade secrets and intellectual property, management of change, process improvement, implementation of systems and training of employees. Manage/train new product stewards. SME for SAP EHS module- manage and provide expertise for data maintenance, updates and training. Global SDS Authoring & Labeling expert including classifying DG. External Advocacy- work with external advocacy groups (such as ACC, etc.), external legal firms (REACH- only representative, etc.), and government agencies (EPA, FRA, etc.). Provide HazCom and DG information to tollers, contract manufacturers, and terminals. Six Sigma Green Belt- continuously improve processes. Collaborate & network with internal stakeholders on key projects- IT programs, supply chain, R&D, marketing/sales. SME for DG classifications. Key contact for DG incidents- manage emergency response program including CHEMTREC®/poison control program. Manager of DG budget for training current and new employees. Engage with FRA on incidents involving NOV's - respond and negotiate. Plan and manage all DG audits (annually).
