Formerly Alpha Contract engineering Ltd, we changed our name to Bay Photonics Ltd in order to better describe the type of work we do. At the same time we relocated to Brixham Laboratory to give ourselves a more up to date working space and space for our two additional highly skilled staff.The Lab also houses three other photonics companies and operates as a photonics cluster.

Following my departure from Bookham Technology in late 2006, I went into partnership with Glenn George and formed Alpha Contract Engineering Ltd. We do however offer services in all sectors of the industry, and are currently most active in the microelectronics assembly and now have automatic equipment to support this. We are now based in a larger facility and offer lab level assembly of specialist micro-electronics and opto-electronics components as well as larger volume manufacture.
