I am a self-driven, highly-organized, and energetic software engineering manager with extensive experience in technical leadership, software development, and project management. Throughout my career, I have been involved in the Financial Services industry. I have involved in every facet of delivering enterprise solutions including the architecture design, development and delivery of large-scale, highly-complex and diverse financial applications. My experience allows me to leverage software development lifecycle best practices. I enjoy problem solving and communicating process improvements that enhance efficiency and reusability. I believe that frequent and transparent communication is the foundation for the ability to lead and mentor high performing geographically dispersed teams, who consistently meet execution timetables and exceed stakeholder expectations.My key strengths are in leading development teams to deliver accurate and efficient solutions, while reducing operational costs. I also have strengths related to delivering end to end solutions including; infrastructure planning and acquisition, establishing performance monitoring and improvements, and leading shared services teams to deliver re-usable components. In my latest role, I created a 6-team organization, called a Center of Excellence (COE) relating to PegaSystems Fraud and Claims applications. These Scrum/Kanban teams delivered numerous shared services that allowed development teams to truly focus on development solely, without distraction. They provided: Shared Production Support, Common Infrastructure Synergies, Rapid Deployment Pipelines, Common Application Interfaces, Reusable Frameworks, and Data Governance. I am proud of these efforts, which delivered approximately $10MM in productivity savings. I believe in the cultivation of business partners and customer relationships is key to success.
