About Larry Franks

I started fishing for steelhead in the early 70's. Even then it was clear the future of these fish and salmon were in dire straits . I was already employed in IT, but went back to school at the UW to learn more about these fish, and what can be done to preserve and enhance them. I have been volunteering with a number of sterling salmon-oriented organizations ever since. (See volunteer organizations in LinkedIn's 'Volunteer' section.) With grown children and having retired from 22 years of IT mgmt for Boeing, I am able to devote a good deal of time to my passion of preserving these magnificent fish.I am privileged to live in a 'fishy' city, county and state.
