Field Superintendent for general contractor that specializes in design-build industrial buildings including distribution and manufacturing facilities throughout the southeast United States. Management of field operations include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:• Initial project team meetings reviewing overall scope of project.• Pre-construction meetings with all subcontractors.• Implementation and adherence to all safety procedures and OSHA requirements.• Monitoring of site grading operations including proper soils testing procedures.• Oversight and coordination between subcontractors to ensure adherence to construction documents.• Coordinate necessary required City & County building inspections.• Meeting with City or County building officials to resolve potential compliance issues.• Procurement of necessary permits from local officials.• Ordering and scheduling building materials deliveries and services.• Adherence to project schedules and budgets.• Reviewing subcontractor change orders and pay requests.• Project quality control.• On-site reporting per contract requirements.• Job punch-out and follow through to Certificate of Occupancy.
