Larry Grimaldi holds a B.A. in Mathematics from St. Michael’s College in Vermont, and a M.S. in Applied Mathematics & Statistics from S.U.N.Y at Stony Brook, NY. After a short tour of duty in the Air Force as an Orbital Analyst assigned to the Space Surveillance Center in the Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, Larry joined the MITRE Corporation. At MITRE he is currently a Principal System Engineer supporting major space command and control system acquisitions for Air Force Space Command (AFSPC).Over his career, Larry has served as Project Lead for the following U.S. Air Force projects: the Space Defense Operations Center (SPADOC); Cheyenne Mountain Upgrade (CMU); and the Combatant Commanders Integrated C2 System (CCIC2S) acquisitions. He has also supported the National Security Space Institute (NSSI), in Colorado Springs, as an instructor and has designed course curriculum for the advanced Space Professional courses.In addition, Larry Grimaldi is an adjunct professor for the Space System Management and Space Environment graduate level courses at the local Colorado Springs campus of Webster University. He has also recently joint the adjunct faculty at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) where he is the professor for two on-line graduate level System Engineering courses.
