Developed and lead a select team of engineers and techicians to create a new automated disk drive build process. The team was comprised of tooling, product design, and process engineers through out the US and Aisa. All new concepts had to meet strict standards of cycletimes, accuracy,yield/scrap/uptimes and meet a 2 year return on investment. The first lines were created in early 2000 with nearly triple digit lines replicated through-out the world by 2009.This team created the global standard for quality and cost, when assembling hard disc drives.
