I am the founder of LightSpeed. I started the company to design, develop and perfect a new technology which enhances the speed and capacity of data communications channels such as the Internet, cable and DSL ISP's, telephones (wireless and land-line), short-distance and long-distance data communications of virtually any type which uses serially transmitted data signals over bandwidth and power limited channels, which includes virtually all data channels currently being used or planned for the future. Due to a number of factors, this has taken much longer than originally hoped for, but is now reaching the point of being demonstrable to investors and others, once patents are finished and the intellectual property which defines these proprietary technologies is assured of protection by patent, proprietary information and copyright laws. These technologies are of such high potential value that they will be sought after by many customers as well as competitors; protection of intellectual property rights is of extremem importance.

Designed and developed data encryption hardware products which protected data being sent over communications channels using DES and other forms of data encryption.

Founded this company with no capital investment, beginning in my basement and growing into larger facilities as the business developed. Design, Manufacture, Sales and Marketing of products for personal computers. Designed peripherals for emerging personal computer market. Created, designed, developed, manufactured and marketed over 30 products. Acquired and established new premises when the company grew too big for existing premises. Hired and trained approximately 97 personnel from senior managers and engineers to unskilled office and factory workers. Managed all aspects of company operation, finance, engineering, manufacturing, marketing and sales, then hired and trained senior managers and delegated these functions as company grew. Acknowledged as the "father" of personal computer businesses in Utah. Received recognition by local businesses and entrepreneural organizations for founding and building the company. Listed in "Who's Who in the West" for these accomplishments.
