• Working with team to deliver best of breed applications to support the automotive industry across the entire lifespan of the automobile using the latest technologies.

• Worked with the existing Direct-Hit development team in Vietnam and new team in Roseville to maintain the core application and implement new features using ASP.NET MVC 4, jQuery, MS Test, Rhino Mocks and PostSharp.• Lead integration effort of new corporate WordPress site to replace existing corporate website that was built into the existing Direct-Hit product separating the two sites and allowing marketing to manage the content of the new site. • Developed new continuous integration and delivery process on TFS and Octopus Deploy with rolling deployments and database migrations.• Migrated core Direct-Hit application from the aging Jenkins build process to the new build and deployment process. • Implemented new OAuth security platform for authentication and authorization leveraging Identity Server 3.0. Collaborated with team in Vietnam to integrate into existing Direct-Hit application providing documentation, a sample client application (still used today for testing purposes), and one-on-one guidance via e-mail, chat and code-review.• Worked with the team to integrate existing back office systems with Salesforce replacing existing CRM solution and portions of the existing sales and provisioning pipeline on extremely accelerated timeline to meet company goals. • Collaborated with team to create a new React application with ASP.NET Core microservices running on Pivotal Cloud Foundry.• Presented to the team on various topics including Blazor, SOLID principles, Unit Testing/TDD, OAuth 2.0, and Security/Web Vulnerabilities.• Assisted with off hours deployment of applications, provided 24x7 support for application issues as needed and worked with the IT and production operations teams to support the application including assisting with testing after sever patching and multiple data center migrations. • Worked with management and the team to improve our agile and devops processes. • Developed new budget tracking feature for e-commerce solution using ASP.NET MVC 4 and Angular.js.• Assisted/Mentored team member with Angular implementation issues.• Working with team to put in place JavaScript Unit testing framework. • Implemented various other minor features and bug fixes.

• Developed and implemented engineering practices in collaboration with team including coding standards for C#, JavaScript, HTML and unit tests.• Instilled a culture of unit and automation testing among the team and provided one-on-one mentoring and several presentations to teach team mates techniques and best practices for testing.• Collaborated with CI Team to integrate code coverage metrics using JetBrains dotCover and FxCop into our CI Build process providing more information back to the team on the health of the code.• Developed “Reference Architecture” for web applications based on ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework to serve as a template for all web applications going forward and defining/demonstrating how we would generally handle the key concerns of authentication and authorization, exception handling, logging, concurrency, transactions, state management, etc. • Unified authentication and account creation across the organization. • Improved general security of all web applications by addressing key vulnerabilities and recommending/implementing best practices.• Migrated the corporate web site and another internal site to Windows Azure.• Led the team on an 18 month endeavor to migrate all of the commerce sites to a shared, layered architecture that is capable of being run in a farm/cloud environment to improve both scalability and availability. It also allows the team to move more quickly with changing business requirements since the logic and data access code are shared across the applications reducing the amount of code that has to be changed to implement a change to business rules and implement new features.• Gathered requirements for projects by working with other MakeMusic team members.• Provided technical design of solutions, including all aspects of software and database development.• Developed new web sites and added features to existing sites using Classic ASP, ASP.Net (1.1, 2.0, 3.5 & 4.0), ASP.Net MVC, SQL Server (2000, 2005 & 2008), LINQ, ADO, ADO.Net, jQuery, NUnit, and more.• Wrote unit tests and assisted QA in test case set up and testing, including writing the very first unit tests for the SmartMusic application and the e-commerce web sites.• Mentored other team members and assisted with resolving design & development issues.• Introduced new technologies and practices to the team by giving demos/tutorials.• Assisted in network/server architecture design, configuration and maintenance.• Designed and implemented a new cloud based (Azure) content delivery cache for the SmartMusic application to improve reliability, scalability, availability and performance.
