I have more than 20 years of experience working in marketing and communications roles, with a strong focus on direct marketing strategy, digital marketing and content marketing. Currently, I serve as the Global Content Marketing Manager for JMP, a subsidiary of SAS. In this role I oversee decisions around the creation, maintenance and promotion of marketing content on all of our primary channels, including the web, direct marketing collateral and digital channels.Prior to joining JMP, I served as SAS' Senior Manager of Customer Loyalty and Retention Marketing, helping to build an active, growing and engaged community of SAS advocates. This included managing the strategy and execution of our in-house, local and regional user groups, account-based marketing and executing critical customer retention marketing campaigns. In this role I also conceived and executed the company's first Novice (Getting Started) and New SAS User Programs, both designed to help improve the customer experience for these audiences. Before this, I held a senior position on SAS' External Communication team, where I served on the company's Customer Experience (CX) Strategy team and managed the SAS user communication strategy. In this role I developed new marketing and communication strategies focused on improving the customer experience at all stages of the customer journey, with special attention given to the adopt and use stages. I also helped define communication priorities for user support organizations; served as managing editor for SAS' most popular learning and technical newsletters and blogs; and developed and executed SAS' corporate content plans for our largest events.Before I joined Worldwide Marketing, I led a team of marketing, communications, social media, and web and digital teams as the Senior Manager for Marketing with SAS Education. My role included developing strategies for and leading the execution of marketing and communication plans to promote the division’s courses, books, certifications, and events.
