About Larry (Lj) Holmes

I build interdisciplinary teams for advanced manufacturing research and development, create and/or expand novel materials and manufacturing technologies, and collaborate with government and industrial stakeholders to bring these developments to production. I enjoy creating collaborative environments that allow faculty, students and professional researchers to work closely with industry and government partners in order to advance new materials and digital manufacturing concepts. My objective is to combine all of the above to further the integration of three-dimensional manufacturing technologies into production-level environments as a solution to multi-component assembly line fabrication.
