Coordinate and maintain KYTC Intelligent Transportation System hardware, software, and networking, including, but not limited to: the Transportation Operations Center Video Wall, The Roadway Weather Information System, overhead and side-mount Dynamic Message Boards, and Traffic Cameras. Plan for and recommend infrastructure improvements (hardware and software). Determine the most efficient and cost effective means to facilitate data movement for ITS systems noted above. Provide user support for Division Personnel. Coordinate/cooperate with other Cabinet Divisions for project development/implementation. Liaison with KYTC IT/COT to insure network viability/reliability.Maintain KYTC Intelligent Transportation System hardware, software, and network infrastructure (TOC Video Wall, Roadway Weather Information system, Dynamic Message Boards, Traffic Cameras). Provide systems engineering and troubleshooting services to insure network reliability. ImplementPlan for, recommend, and implement infrastructure improvements for KYTC ITS hardware/software/systems in order to maintain long-term ITS network viability. Oversee work performed by contractors, administer contracts with vendors. Ensure systems compliance with COT/KYTC IT guidelines.Determine the most efficient and cost effective means to facilitate data movement for KYTC ITS, make recommendations, facilitate changes, if necessary.
