InformaCast enjoys a reputation for quality and features that is unmatched in our industry.I embrace technology and love working on innovative products that provide meaningful revenue to our company. My curiosity and technical background allows me to be a part of the design process, without slowing it down. I need to understand how all the parts fit together. Singlewire is a small company, so engineers report directly to me. No need for extra layers in the org chart. My team’s work is an important part of the process; what we are building today, will be sold in a few months.I love metrics, the only objective way to measure our success. Our products exceeds industry standards in - on time delivery (because InformaCast is part of a larger system, we can’t slip due dates)- quality (measured in defects found in QA vs. in the field)- employee retention- customer satisfaction (measured by the number of customers that annually renew maintenance)We also measure InformaCast’s capacity, speed, and resource usage.Security has become a critical part of our product. We need to adhere to standards set by the largest networking and IP telephony company (Cisco). That's because part of our product is OEM’d by Cisco.We need to embrace software security without affecting the delivery of new functionality.This is an exciting time to be in the industry. Engineer shortages have moved us to try 3rd party development, remote developers, and part time engineers. Changes in customer needs have led us to develop products that run on appliances, and we are moving functionality from on-premise applications to the cloud. Things are always changing. Maybe that’s the best part of my job.
