This effort involves assisting with the creation of Project, CM and QA plans as well as auditing projects to ensure they are satisfying the terms of the Interagency Agreement between SPAWAR and the VA

Responsible for management of the Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT) which performs Systems Engineering Management Planning, Hardware Development Planning, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Configuration Management. The SEIT develops and deploys business processes and maintains business tools (such as AutoCAD, Enovia MatrixOne, etc.). Process improvement is managed by the SEIT through the implementation of SEI CMMI, ISO 9000, and Lean Six Sigma standards and tools. Additionally, the SEIT provides technical oversight to ensure that the engineering tasks are being accomplished in accordance with the released processes.

Responsible for planning, implementation, and delivery of the MatrixOne PLM system as a replacement for the production Sherpa PIMS system for the C-17 Maintenance Trainer Program. Responsible for day to day operation and issue management for the AAI MatrixOne Production Project.

IBM representative to PDES, Inc. industry consortium. Provided requirements gathering, support and testing of ISO 10303 (STEP) for the configuration control of 3D design data. This effort has been approved as an application protocol (AP 203) for STEP. Team leader of the PDES, Inc. Deployment team which worked with member companies to implement the STEP standard in support on concurrent engineering. Team leader role vacated 8/1/2000.In the STEP implementation efforts, responsibilities include providing training to PDES, Inc. member companies on AP 203, and providing consulting on various implementation alternatives. These efforts involve major companies in the aerospace, automotive industry sectors as well as the U.S. government (see http://pdesinc.aticorp.org/). 8/1/2000- Assigned to work on integration of electrical and mechanical processes and tools utilizing STEP.

Responsible for release and control of all site hardware and software via either hardcopy or softcopy media. Responsible for the tracking and delivery of all site Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) data to customer. Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the Document Identification And Retrieval System (DIRS) for electronic creation or scanning of all site CDRL related data.

Lead programmer on an IBM internally developed electronic engineering release system to release CADAM mechanical drawings and output of an internally developed electrical design tool.

Lead programmer and group leader on an interface between Computervision (CV) 3D piping system to an internally developed piping design integrity system and match mark assembly system. Interface was from CV to IBM MVS to UNIVAC.Lead programmer and group leader on geometry and configuration control project. The project goal was to provide an electronic transfer of structural submarine make-from parts created in a Computervision design system to an ADAGE/DEC interactive nesting system. Mainframe data was stored in the AUTOKON database.
