Platinum Control Technologies is one of the leading providers of burner management systems used in the production of crude oil and natural gas.

Responsible for the firm’s accounting function which included general ledger, intercompany reconciliations, financial analysis, management reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Supervised six employees.Participated in bi-monthly leadership meetings with ownership and operations staff.Developed reporting for truck and rail transportation across 8 states in 5 regions. Documented procedures for driver payroll, owner operator lease, trade accounts payable and freight auditing processes. Directed the Accounting Department with professional staff overseeing the company’s substantial growth from $18 million per month to $30 million per month in revenues over a period of one year.

Responsible for the firm's Accounting Function which included general ledger, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Other duties included risk management and bank relations. Supervised four professional employees. Recommended and implemented a new paperless accounts payable system that enabled five locations to receive approval of invoices online and reduced filing and invoice retrieval by 90%.Created and introduced a revenue budget buildup worksheet to twelve department heads which helped them project annual revenues and headcount for the budget process.Implemented a new time and billing system that reduced billing time by 50% and enabled custom reporting by department, location and service line.Restructured the accounting system from a location based reporting structure to a service line, department structure to enable cooperation among locations.Implemented a new budget/forecasting program while allowed service line leaders to prepare budgets online and drill down into monthly financial data to explain variances to budget.Operated the Finance Department with the same three staff which the company grew from $18 million to $50 million in revenues over a nine year period.
