Highly trusted for work ethic, strategic acumen, hands-on experience, and ability to get the job done.• Oversee a geographically dispersed Division of approximately 70 employees managing the pre-award and post-award administration of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) cost plus fixed fee, cost plus incentive fee, cost plus award fee, firm fixed price, indefinite quantity indefinite delivery contracts for major, long-term, and complex procurement actions involving multiple contractors and subcontractors. • Strategically planned and created multiple innovative Other Transaction (OT) processes.• Negotiate interagency agreements (7600s) with MPs to secure funding for the most efficient contract specialist support.• Routinely brief and interact with leadership at the SES, General Officer, and GS-15/Commander level on a strategic level to drive positive change.• Lead multiple hiring actions resulting in the placement of employees at all levels. • Utilize knowledge of contracting laws, principles, and regulations to generate new procurement concepts and establish contract strategies for each acquisition program; mentor and provide technical leadership to senior-level acquisition professionals. • Plan, evaluate and strategically develop the annual $8M (approx.)
